Summary
On March 26-28, 2007 the picturesque campus of the SAS corporate world headquarters in Cary, NC, provided the setting for the second annual SEM WORKS Community College Enrollment Management and Student Marketing Symposium. More than 200 participants from across the nation and Canada attended the jam-packed two-and-a-half-day event. SAS, the leading intelligence solutions software partner for educational institutions worldwide, joined SEM WORKS as sponsor and host with support from the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) and the League for Innovation in the Community College.
The conference featured nationally-recognized experts who provided lively educational and engaging presentations. Topics included strategic enrollment planning, recruitment and marketing strategies, internal and external branding, technology techniques, and serving diverse populations; and discussions centered on the enrollment management and marketing needs and issues specific to the community college.
